ALL OUR TIMBER IS SOURCED FROM SUSTAINABLE FORESTS IN ZIMBABWE UNDER CONTROL OF THE FORESTRY COMMISSION OF ZIMBABWE.

Royalties are paid to the local communities for timber harvested, thereby further ensuring the sustainability of the forests and also of the communities surrounding them.

Our representatives in Bulawayo hand select the timber at source to ensure that only the best-featured logs are selected to be further processed to final product stage.

Once the logs have been selected, they are conveyed to our processing facility in Bulawayo using our own transport fleet.

All our products are kiln dried to ensure stability of the moisture content. All Savannah products are vacuum treated for long-term protection against insect infestation.

Once the finished products are packed it is transported to South Africa using or own transport fleet. On arrival in South Africa the finished products are stored in our warehouse from where it is distributed.

Our sales team will visit your premises to determine you exact requirements whereafter our experienced installation teams will install your investment to your specifications.

Baikiaea Plurijuga is a species of legume in the Fabaceae family and is also known as:

  • Makusi

The tree is a pure African species found in the Kalahari Sand Veldt, which covers large areas of Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and Angola.

It is a small tree, normally 9-15m high with a clear bole of 3-4.5m and a trunk diameter of up to 0.75m.
